Vázquez: "We will have to continue fighting"
The defender looks back at the defeat to Espanyol
Jesús Vázquez got a first start at Mestalla in the game against RCD Espanyol, and he reflected on the game after the final whistle.
Debuting at Mestalla
"I'm very happy and proud to be able to debut at home in front of the fans. The win got away from us at the last moment. We will have to continue fighting. I am a person who finds it difficult to get nervous, but playing at Mestalla is an impressive feat and I am eager to do it again."
Focusing on the Copa del Rey
"It is a season for gaining experience. We had the opportunity today and now we have to focus on Cartagena."
Wish for 2022
"My wish for 2022 is that we move as high up the table as possible, and that we are able to finish in the Champions League spots."
